Host a Course
Each year, agencies across the US host NUCPS courses, creating opportunities for local and regional law enforcement professionals to enhance their education closer to home, saving time and money.BENEFITS
- Depending on the number of paying students enrolled in the course, the host agency can receive a specific number of free seats.
- No out-of-pocket costs are due to Northwestern.
- NUCPS handles registration and tuition billing.

- Brochures, fliers, and examples of course announcements.
- Course listing on the NUCPS website, in advertising on policetraining.net, and in our community emailings, including the 20,000+ distribution of The Key.
- Course promotion to local agencies, including mailings, e-mailings, presentations, phone calls, social media, advertising, and PR.
- Suitable classroom in terms of size, internet access, and general course requirements.
- Contact person to assist instructors during the course.
- Courses vary in length. NUCPS will work with hosts to determine the number of days and class hours.
- NUCPS recommends planning at least nine to twelve months in advance. This lead time will help both NUCPS and the host agency promote the course and allow potential participants to secure funding.
