*Northwestern University Faculty/Staff:
Full-time, benefits-eligible Northwestern employees with one year of service may be eligible to use the Employee NU Certificate Tuition Benefit towards tuition reimbursement. Please contact HR at educational-assistance@northwestern.edu to confirm your eligibility prior to registering. The conference is a short-term, noncredit offering, and we provide a certificate of completion.

Manuscript consultations:
For an additional fee of $125, conference participants may meet individually for 30 minutes with an instructor or panelist to discuss work sent in advance. The submitted work must be no more than 15 pages of prose or 8 pages of poetry (double-spaced, 12-point font). When you register, you will select your consultant from the list of instructors and panelists.
Registration policies:
- All registrations must be completed via the online registration form.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Student rate applies to students from Northwestern University and other schools.
- Registration ends on August 11, 2019.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing (by mail or email to summerwriters@northwestern.edu) and refunds will be granted as follows: Cancellations received on or before August 11, 2019: full refund, less a $50 processing fee. Cancellations received after August 11, 2019: no refund granted. By registering for the conference, you are agreeing to these terms.
