Communication Sciences and DisordersCSD 319-DL : Aural Rehabilitation
Description
This course is designed to expose students to fundamental
aspects of clinical aural habilitation for hearing impaired adults
and children. Students will be able to describe the acoustical,
educational, emotional, and psychosocial impact of hearing
impairment. Students will develop a hypothetical case study
detailing evaluation techniques, potential outcomes for the
hypothetical patient, setting of therapy goals, and design of
activities to reach those goals.
This course is conducted completely online. A technology fee will
be added to tuition.
