OLLI'S COORDINATORS

Coordinators play a vital role in Northwestern's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program. They are the core element in the success of the organization. Coordinators stimulate intellectual curiosity, continued learning, cultural enrichment and participation in the varied offerings of OLLI. Their importance to the success of OLLI cannot be overstated. Our coordinators come from a wide range of backgrounds, interests and experience. Their suggestions and ideas constitute a distillation of practical experience. Coordinators need not be experts on the discussion topic. They are not an instructor or a teacher. Their success as a coordinator does not hinge on how much they know, but rather their ability to encourage member participation and keep the group headed in a productive direction.
